Course Overview

Tourism is a phenomenal growth industry throughout the world, reflecting the rise in living standards and an awareness of the importance of touring and travelling for pleasure, recreation and relaxation. The travel and hospitality industry accounts for 10% of the world’s GDP and 10% of global employment levels. It is a major source of foreign exchange earnings and employment.

The Diploma in Tourism Entrepreneurship is designed to nurture students to identify business, entrepreneurial and employment opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industries. It provides them with the foundation, skills and knowledge to identify, design, market and manage tourism operations with profit and efficiency, in fulfilment of the global demand to discover exciting and exotic holiday destinations and locations.
