About Institut CECE

Institut CECE is a private Institution of Higher Education (Institut Pendidikan Tinggi Swasta, IPTS), registered with the Ministry of Higher Education.

Institut CECE is a unique and a non-profit community-based institution that focuses on providing quality, affordable and accessible teacher education for early childhood practitioners.

The Institut has been serving the community and has, in turn, contributed to nation building since 1976. Its development has since progressed from social, economic and education needs of serious-minded pre-school operators, principals and teachers to meeting the needs of qualified trainers and lecturers in early childhood education throughout Malaysia.

Programme Objectives 
The trained and qualified early childhood educator:

• Will be considered capable of becoming a curriculum leader in any early childhood setting, whether it is a pre-school or a childcare center, and providing care and education for young children from ages zero to six.
• Acquires a strong knowledge base and a wide repertoire of effective teaching skills to provide culturally, developmentally and socially appropriate learning experiences that lead young children towards their potential developments.
• Is capable of facilitating the development of the pedagogy with the integrative methodology for educating young children.
