During this degree, you will study the techniques that underpin such areas as complex computing systems, computer graphics, computer security, web technology, mobile computing and artificial intelligence. You will also develop your technical skills of programming, software design, computer systems and operations. In addition, you will acquire a wide range of transferable skills that are sought after by many employers.

Entry Requirements

STPM: 2 Principal Passes and Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent

GCE ‘A’ Level:

Minimum Standard: 2 Principal Passes (EE) and Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or Grade C at O-Level or equivalent

Dual Award Required Standard: 2 Principal Passes (CC) and Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or Grade C at O-Level or equivalent.
Applicant without 2 Principal Passes (CC) may be considered on a case by case basis by the Dual Award University partner

UEC: 5 Credits (Min B6) including Mathematics 

*Foundation/Matriculation:

Minimum Standard: Pass with CGPA ≥ 2.00 and Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent

Dual Award Required Standard: Pass with CGPA ≥ 3.00 and Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent

Australian Matriculation/ Foundation:

Minimum Standard: ATAR score of 55

Dual Award Required Standard: ATAR score of 70

*Diploma:

  • A Diploma (Level 4 MQF) in Computer Science/ Software Engineering/Information Systems or equivalent with CGPA ≥ 2.50 & Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent. Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 with a Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent may be admitted subject to rigorous internal assessment process; OR
  • Any other Diploma (Level 4 MQF) in Science and Technology with CGPA ≥ 2.50 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process & Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent
