Why did you choose to study A-Levels/Foundation/Diploma/Matriculation?

I heard a lot of positive feedbacks from my friends and seniors who studied in MSU. So, I decided to visit MSU on the info day. I knew instantly that this is the place that I would like to further my studies. I love how the employees and students are helpful and carry
themselves with such confidence, the countless facilities (love that it has Starbucks, definitely my main go-to from now) and the building is exceedingly beautiful and huge.

How did you decide on your course?

Well, it wasn’t really hard for me as I always wanted to do Psychology. So, the most suitable option in MSU was Foundation in TESL and I would be doing a degree in Psychology. I’m really happy to be doing foundation in TESL as this will help me to be skilled in my language and writing which will help in my report in Psychology.

How was your institution affected by the COVID-19 pandemic?

It was extremely hard at first as all the club activities and physical classes were cancelled. Everyone was so confused of how class and club activities were going to be carried out but thank goodness MSU planned it all well. Students had clear instructions of how online class and club activities would be held online. It’s still really fun.

How did you manage to study for your pre-u despite the COVID-19 pandemic?

It was definitely difficult trying to adapt to online classes. I was upset as I couldn’t meet all the friends and lecturers that I just met when I started classes. Physical class was definitely so much better than online class. I thank god the lecturers always make the class interesting. Plus, once I got used to it, I started looking on the bright side of online class and is now giving my absolute best in all my classes.

What made you decide to continue your pre-u studies during the COVID-19 pandemic?

I decide to continue my studies in MSU during pandemic because I enjoy hanging out with the new friends I made, the interesting classes and the relationships that have been built with my lecturers and classmates. I think I wouldn’t want to trade for anything else then this. I’m really happy to pursue my studies in MSU. I know it’s going to be a fun year regardless!
